“While it is clear that the opportunities available to young people are going to be severely diminished due to COVID19, what is less clear is how we can best support young people through this crisis and beyond. If we are genuinely going to improve employment and prospects for young people during and after the COVID19
crisis we need to start by working with young people directly to empower them to give voice to their experiences and aspirations. Young people’s voices have been largely missing from the current conversations about how the COVID19 pandemic has and will impact their employment and future prospects. In order to fill this gap and give young people a voice, we undertook a study that would be led and informed by young people themselves.”
