Through this MentorAbility experience, Rabeka gained confidence and was able to showcase her eagerness, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Before Rabeka arrived at MentorAbility Canada, she worked with a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist at March of Dimes Canada Employment Services because she had been out of the workforce for several years and needed help finding employment. She had previous administrative and customer service work experience but was having trouble finding employment due to a gap in her work history.

Rabeka was interested in learning more about customer service and if this would be an interesting role and fit for her. After connecting with a Job Developer at March of Dimes Canada, they decided to pursue a MentorAbility experience with Sheridan Nurseries.

Although slightly nervous about the mentorship at first, Rabeka embraced the opportunity. She impressed the employer with her skills and positive attitude. There was a part-time customer service job opening at Sheridan Nurseries. After the mentorship, Rebeka interviewed for the position, and she was offered! Through this MentorAbility experience, Rabeka gained confidence and was able to showcase her eagerness, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Congratulations, Rabeka! Your story is a testament to resilience and the power mentorship can provide.
