With these two MentorAbility experiences under their belt, the job seeker found employment within their local municipality in the GTA.

A job seeker came to MentorAbility looking for mentorships where they could learn more about the Transportation and E-Learning Industries – specifically in the Organizational Learning and Learning & Development fields. We were lucky to find not one willing mentor but two in Loblaws Inc. and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority!

The job seeker’s first mentorship with the Learning & Development department at Loblaws was so successful that Loblaws invited the job seeker back to perform a job shadow with an entirely different manager to get a different perspective. The job seeker found their experience with Loblaws to be very informative and they were able to get feedback on their resume too.

The second mentorship with the Greater Toronto Airport Authority was equally as successful, as the job seeker not only got a look at the Learning & Development department but also the Wellness and Succession Planning departments as well. Also, they were invited back for a second meeting where the mentor reviewed their resume and helped them tailor it to specific job postings.

With these two MentorAbility experiences under their belt, the job seeker found employment within their local municipality in the GTA.

Many thanks to both Loblaws Inc. and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority for supporting the job seeker in reaching their goals!
