career or job development,
digital literacy,
disability and employment, and
the intersection of disability and intersectionality in relation to employment services.

Our micro-credentials offer a combination of certificates and digital badges that can be shared across social media platforms and portfolios, resumes, websites, email signatures etc. Digital badges offer a visual representation of the achievement and are portable and easy to verify. They connect metadata on the learner, our CASE organization and the criteria for each course or program.

As members continue to upskill in response to emerging technology and the changing landscape of employment services across Canada, micro-credentials add to an individual’s portfolio of marketable skills and serve as a bridge between complementary programs and courses.
Our self-directed programs and sometimes on-demand courses (Nature of Innovation, Accessible Communications, Guiding Principles for a Great Fit) can offer training opportunities that align with employment agencies professional development plans while appealing to individual self-directed learning paths.
CASE recognizes the need to be creative in sourcing and fostering talent in the employment sector. Together with our partners, we are rethinking training and professional development to nurture a strong, viable, and evolving sector. Micro-credentials are a valuable part of this process.
