Last year, Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, officially proclaimed DEAM in the province. This year, the City of St. John’s, in partnership with MentorAbility Canada, will be hosting a proclamation event as an effort to promote awareness and to showcase our commitment to an inclusive society for Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans. ASL Interpreters and the media will be present.
