Mario said that his time with Anton made for a very successful MentorAbility Experience, and he was glad to meet and chat with someone in his field.

Mario was referred to MentorAbility Canada after completing a business diploma, as he needed guidance on how to enter the business sector after schooling. He also wanted to explore work-from-home opportunities and create an electronic portfolio to share with potential employers.

Mario was then matched with a local business in Ontario and met up with his mentor Anton, who worked in web development. Anton provided a wealth of information to Mario, including details about digital portfolios and a boot camp training program that could help him obtain an IT certificate sooner. This boot camp program would support and enhance Mario’s business diploma and improve his opportunities for remote jobs and better salaries.

Anton suggested AI job matching software that would act as a “feeder” and provide Mario with job postings from multiple IT companies. Anton also offered to continue providing support and information to Mario after the day’s mentorship ended.

Mario said that his time with Anton made for a very successful MentorAbility Experience, and he was glad to meet and chat with someone in his field. He also mentioned that he now felt more confident moving his career forward in the business/IT world.

Great work Mario. We can’t wait to hear about all your future successes!
