Joshua was very excited to learn all he could from James about computers, and he even got to share his own knowledge about computers as well.
Joshua was referred to MentorAbility with a keen interest in computers. Thankfully, we were able to match Joshua with a mentor in James, the technical manager of Computers For Schools Manitoba, to learn more about tech.
James first shared with Joshua on the history of Computers for Schools, detailing the pillars of the organization as well as what they do for the community. Joshua was then given a tour of the warehouse facility where staff take in, fix, sort, store and recycle computers and electronics.
Joshua was very excited to learn all he could from James about computers, and he even got to share his own knowledge as well. The pairing of James and Joshua was a great match and made for a valuable MentorAbility Experience. It was exciting to see two people with a common interest share their passion together and learn from each other.
Many thanks to James and Computers for Schools for providing a fantastic mentorship, and we are excited to see where Joshua’s computer skills take him in the future!
