Natasha: A Positive Reception. Facilitated by WASO. Logos: MentorAbility Canada, the Canadian Association for Supported Employment and the Government of Canada.

Natasha walked away with a clearer sense of direction and was reaffirmed that administrative work is the right path for her.

Natasha is a motivated individual who was interested in pursuing a career in the administrative field. She and her career coach at WASO Employment Services decided that a mentorship at a large organization would provide valuable insights into her desired profession.

MentorAbility Manitoba matched Natasha with her mentor Michele from the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba.

During this MentorAbility Experience, Natasha had the opportunity to tour the Graduate Studies department. Michele provided an in-depth explanation of the vital role that front-end reception plays in the daily operations of the office along with practical advice on applying for administrative positions in the future.

Natasha walked away with a clearer sense of direction and was reaffirmed that administrative work is the right path for her. We wish Natasha continued success in her career journey and we’d like to extend our gratitude to the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba for supporting her aspirations!
