We were fortunate to be able to pair her with John, the Creative Director of Perfect Day creative agency in Newfoundland.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Alicia met with the Perfect Day team to discuss how she could get started in this field and what education and training she would need. She also learned how the staff members got their start in creative design.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Alicia learned about the foundations of graphic design, from topics like animation, branding and book covers to things like video editing and managing client relationships. It was a very interactive MentorAbility Experience, with the whole team taking part in the mentorship sharing different perspectives with Alicia. Alicia even had the opportunity to share her own designs with everyone!\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">John said the team really enjoyed having Alicia stop by and would be happy to take part in another mentorship again in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Great job Alicia!
