He reached out to Avalon Employment where Courtney matched him with the perfect mentor, Alex. <\/p><p>This mentorship was Alex\u2019s first as a MentorAbility mentor. He looked forward to sharing his experience and varied background in accounting. <\/p><p>When they met, Alex discussed the day-to-day activities of an accounting career. He covered the skills Matthew would need to succeed in this rewarding role. Alex also provided Matthew with some helpful information on accommodations and advocating for himself in the workplace.<\/p><p>Matthew appreciated all the valuable information that Alex was able to share.
