Luckily, her case worker at Resource Abilities in P.E.I. utilized MentorAbility to connect Sonja to someone with podcasting experience. MentorAbility connected Sonja to Alex from the Canadian Association for Supported Employment, who coordinates the Abilities at Work Podcast as well as his own personal podcast called the The Career Planning Show.<\/p><p>Sonja enjoyed her MentorAbility Experience \u201cvery much\u201d and said gaining experience with a podcasting professional \u201cmade it all the more worthwhile.\u201d Sonja was taught some keys to a success podcast &#8211; such as a high-quality microphone, good sound quality and proper streaming software \u2013 and said the most encouraging tip Alex gave her was to \u201cjust start and see what happens.\u201d<\/p><p>Sonja \u201cloved the fact\u201d that her MentorAbility experience made her feel more comfortable starting her own podcast and she recommends MentorAbility to anyone who is interested in exploring new work opportunities.<\/p><p>Great work, Sonja!
